54% of Workers Prefer Working In Office to Working From Home

If you spend time on Social Media or read articles in the media you would think that Remote Work is some new amazing thing that 100% of workers love and that it's the way forward. The reality is that while some people love remote work and the flexibility it brings to their lives, that's not true of everyone. This could be for a number of reasons such as not having a good internet connection at home, having roomates or not having an ideal workspace, not being able to work and live in the same space, or just the need to get out of the house and see other people. A recent survey found that over half, 54% of workers surveyed, said they prefer working in the office to working at home, with the main hurdle keeping most people from going into the office being commute time. Currently the average commute time in the USA is about 27 minutes meaning workers spend about 5 hours a week or 20 hours a month commuting.
