For years people believed autism was caused vaccines thanks to a fraudulent paper published by Andrew Wakefield. We now know from numerous studies that it’s not true. In this video, Dr Susan Oliver and Cindy the dog go back to science, and explain how scientists are able to use databases like VAERS and the Yellow Card scheme to distinguish between adverse events caused by vaccines and adverse events that are just coincidences.
