The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or "Mormons" is a sect of Christianity whose believes include spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ across the world. This results in missionary work to many nations during which time the missionaries learn the language, culture and slang of these host nations.

The church is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah and the 300th Military Intelligence Brigade of the Utah National Guard is headquartered right down the road in Draper, UT.

This synergy between LDS members and the U.S. Army makes for highly prized and specialized human intelligence collectors and linguists.
