A film depicting a woman suffering from an abortion was shown for the first time in Japan at the Yokohama Film Festival in France and received high acclaim. "The Happening" was adapted from the novel by Annie Ernaud, who will be formally awarded this year's Nobel Prize for Literature in Stockholm on Saturday. Shoko Koyama of NHK World talks to film director Audrey Diwan about the story and why its author should be celebrated.
