Montana Woman Charged For Killing and Skinning Husky

Follow Up On Amber Rose claims she mistook a domestic Husky for a wolf. Montana charges her with a misdemeanor claiming aggravated animal cruelty was not used because they could not prove negligence under §45-8-211, MCA, which provides: (they must not know what or means)

Cruelty to animals — exception.
(1) A person commits the offense of cruelty to animals if without justification he knowingly or negligently subjects an animal to mistreatment or neglect by:
(a) ... killing an animal.
