This footage shows a professional plumber deadlifting with his own workout equipment that he made out of sticks and cement.

Azeez Yusuf Oriyomi, 21, who comes from Nigeria, told Newsflash in an interview that he has an at-home gym, which he created two or three months ago.

Azeez said: “I started working out in 2016 and I stopped for a while because of my school. I finally got back to it back in 2019 and ever since then I haven't stopped.”

Azeez said that his biggest role model is his brother, who drives him and motivates him to push himself further.

“I don't follow any diet and I have never done that,” Azeez said.

“And I don't use any supplements,” he added.

The footage shows just how much Azeez has progressed as he can be seen deadlifting twelve heavyset barbells which he has made out of cement.

It can be seen that there are 6 barbells on each side, joined together by a thick wooden stick.

Azeez said that he made them himself by mixing and casting sand and granite into a cement mixture.

He said: “For the barbell plates I use rubber paints to size and cast the weight and for dumbbells, I used a half-inch galvanized pipe and cast it with already mixed cement and granite.

“I can't afford real iron and bumper plates that's why I had thought about doing it for myself.

"Secondly, when I started, I was still in school, and I don't have enough time to go to the gym in the morning or evening, since it is very far from where I live,” Azeez explained.
