You can get hacked through a word document

Video transcript:
Microsoft has rolled out updates to patch a Windows vulnerability that hackers are still actively exploiting.
Like right now, so maybe it’s finally time to update your Windows.
The security flaw called Follina lets hackers hijack users’ computers through apps like Microsoft Word.
Basically if you somehow open one of these files, hackers could take control of the Microsoft Support Diagnostic Tool & then just execute any commands that they’d want.
So pretty much anything from creating & downloading new files to deleting existing files & so on.
Some security researchers have been aware of this exploit since late May, but apparently Microsoft just dismissed them at first.
