At the beginning of the year, San Francisco tried an experiment with an open air drug zone in the Tenderloin District to try and combat overdoses and rampant drug crime. Less than a year later, the zone has costed the taxpayers $22 Million, $12 Million more than originally expected, and had no tangible difference in drug crime and overdose. Three cheers for progressive law making!
