The disgusting Fitsnews / Will Folks headline referencing salacious details about Paul Murdaugh’s death is a new low for the pathetic FN blog.

With respect to the Idaho murders, as of this morning Dec. 6, 2022 everyone is chasing their tails, going back to square one, or trying to discern what is accurate from the stray tidbits of gossip they read and hear.

There is near total confusion.

I now agree with Mr. Goncalves's concerns over the competency and ineffectiveness of LE.

Between our DoJ and media, we are simply not accurately informed... about anything.

As for trusting LE, we can't say "the FBI is credible here and can be trusted in this instance" ... when we know they've lied to us for years on other extremely important topics.

Moreover, I now believe that well-connected people and institutions have exerted pressure to minimize the full horror of these murders... for basically PR.

At the very least, this case has been a wake up call for a generation who rely upon LE and media for their "facts."

One overarching take away is that media will disseminate anything and then take no responsibility at all for the chaos and confusion they generate.

Covering this story is now a huge cash cow for struggling media. Salacious details sell. Most in media still can't even pronounce "Goncalves" much less get a fact right. Most media personalities are reading scripted questions and spend more energy on hair and makeup than on the facts of the story. The public is left trying to weed through 90% misinformation.

People see the "Ashleigh Banfield " and "Lawrence Jones" kind of formulaic sets and presentation and are naively duped by a mish mash of exploitive nonsense.
