Just as there are many kinds of succulents, there are many types of containers that you can choose from to make a beautiful succulent garden. Plants can be grown in any container that will hold a growing medium and preferably has drainage holes in the bottom for removal of excess water. We chose a simple bonsai container to display a variety of succulents that are compatible in care and growth.
Care: This succulent container garden thrives best outdoors in filtered sunlight and water about once a week. Protect from frost by bringing succulent container gardens indoors where they can receive bright sunlight and good air circulation. Water about once a month if kept indoors during the winter. Relocate your succulents outdoors in the spring.
Some of the succulents featured are:
Haworthia attenuata “Zebra Plant”
Echeveria “Pink Metallica”
Sempervivum “Green Houseleek”
