South Africa's ruling ANC party is meeting today to discuss the fate of president Cyril Ramaphosa. Over the weekend, Ramaphosa said he would not resign in the face of impeachment threats. Last week a parliamentary report concluded that the President may have violated anti-corruption laws by covering up the theft of a large sum of money from his farm. Ramaphosa denies any wrongdoing. The Parliament is expected to debate a possible impeachment measure on Tuesday. FRANCE 24 is joined by Kaeleboga J. Maphunye, professor of African Politics at the University of South Africa.
