The Kinsol Trestle is one of the longest trestle bridges in the world. Originally started in 1911 as bridge crossing over the Kokisila River on Vancouver Island, the bridge was decommissioned in 1979. After fire damaged the trestle it was restored to it's former grandeur and combined with the Trans Canada Trail system - Vancouver Island leg.
This is an amazing structure to see and visit and is easily accessible.
