This little colonial lantern will add lots of detail to your garden, gazebo or front entrance. The intricate design is appealing yet simple and can be made functional by adding a number of LED type lights, either solar or battery powered, depending on where it is hanging. If you want to add even more authenticity you could add either glass or plastic inside but be aware it could also take away somewhat from the 3 dimensional look of the lantern that is enhanced by the see through window pane effect. Adding the brass hinges, clasps and locking device adds another nice detail effect.
