Fort Myers Boil Order

The cause of the break was a slit to a 12” water line that supplied water to a major 42” water main. The city says service was fully restored and they completed fixing the ground at 8 a.m. on Sunday. The water is now going to be tested for 48 consecutive hours. Officials say if tests are clean the boil water notice could be lifted Monday evening or Tuesday morning.
