Over 60 percent of Gen Z in Asia reported a decline in mental health since COVID-19 struck, freelance visual artist, Howie Kim, was no different. His signature style of surreal and whimsical art pieces were fueled by social interactions – without which he was drained of inspiration. Anxious and frustrated, he turned inwards for solace, and surprisingly found an inner world that could both inspire and heal.
