Samuel Rappylee Bateman was the "prophet" for a splinter group of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. His own brand of Mormonism included polygamy with 20 wives, some were of his blood and others were as young as 9. His congregation was 50 strong, enough to fund a lifestyle to purchase two Bentley's and a cargo trailer to traffick children across state lines for devious reasons. Bateman was so repulsive, he was denounced by his original leader at the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Warren Jeffs, the creep who's behind bars for kid diddling and subject to the Netflix Documentary "Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey."
