I wrote this song about the beginning stages of a relationship when you’re in the midst of falling head over heels in love, while simultaneously wondering what the actual f*&% is going on. Your life is changing, their life is changing, your priorities reconfigure themselves, and you’re taking on the general confusion of two humans blending their lives together. There are so many highs and lows, wins and losses, as you attempt to predict what will be-come of the "situationship" you now find yourself in.

With a driving beat from the very top, this song keeps you hooked throughout. Harmonies, guitar solos, epic drum fills and even an unexpected time change are a few of the elements that will stop you from clicking “next”. Coming from a background in classic rock and now being ingratiated into the Nashville country scene, I decided to put this song under the genre alternative. I’m not exactly sure what “alternative” means though… but does anyone? To me alternative means the song doesn’t fit in the box. It’s a little too heavy for pop, too melodic for rock, and missing some key elements for country - namely a country singer on it. Genre is always a hot topic of discussion in the music world, but with this song I just wanted it to be on a clean slate without a preconceived identity. Which now that I think of it, ain’t a bad way to describe where I’m at as a person either. Here’s to always growing and evolving as an artist and a human… here’s my latest song for you all to enjoy. “What Will Be” is now yours :) I hope you love it!
