Not once since 2006, when Stereo began its mission, has it shown us a spherical object such as the one in question. Not once. This event stands out in contrast so very much from typical observations, that I find it outrageous when I am told that it is simply a normal CME! The thing is, that would be easily proven by providing another similar event from the archive. And although there are constant claims of it being a CME, when I ask for them to provide another such eruption, they always fall silent. Every. Single. Time. And then there is the whole aspect of this simultaneously occurring with the large Tonga eruption. I do not believe one caused the other but rather that there is a common cause which currently resides beyond our current understanding of these things.
