Five spice powder is a combination of spices that you will never forget, used sparingly it will add an immense flavour profile. It goes great with braised pork belly, especially when you put it on a pizza. Most definitely a distinct flavour that will make you want more.

Just remember to use a coffee grinder dedicated to spices or your coffee might have a whole new spice blend. You can also use all ground spices and skip the coffee grinder step. Either way you will end up wit a great five spice powder.

FIVE SPICE POWDER
Ingredients
1 tbsp Star anise (4 whole)
1 tbsp Cinnamon (2 sticks)
1 tbsp Fennel seeds
1 tbsp Peppercorns
1 tsp Cloves (8 whole)

Instructions
1). Add all ingredients to a coffee grinder and grind to a fine powder. We recommended to use a grinder devoted to spices because the five spice powder will leave the flavour in the grinder. Alternatively you can use pre-ground spices.
