Semeru volcano eruption prompts residents to evacuate in Indonesia

Police helped evacuate residents affected by the eruption of the Mount Semeru volcano in East Java, Indonesia, on Sunday, December 4.

The National Disaster Management Agency warned residents not to carry out any activities in the southeastern sector along Besuk Kobokan, 13 km from the summit.
