Elon Musk is profiting off of America's return to the moon. His company SpaceX has been contracted to deliver a working rover to the astronauts that will be landing on the moon for the first time since the 1970s.

Yeah, I wanted to talk about space. What was going on with NASA. And then touch on the kind of like what Elon Musk in SpaceX is doing. Sure. You know as negative as it is. Well, there's a mission going on right now called to eat Artemis One mission. That has a spacecraft going around the Moon. It's unmanned or uncrewed, excuse me. But the second one will be crewed and that will be the vehicle that takes humans to the Moon again. That's launched on a NASA rocket called the space launch system. That’s the large orange one you may have seen. But that mission's going on and in part of that is SpaceX has a contract to eventually provide a Lander for the moon for people to use. and that's a three billion dollar contract that's going on right now. and I thought you know as part of what disturbed me that is SpaceX is like advertising on Twitter now. So I just think it's kind of screwed up that this man, you know, just the positive program that's going on, we're actually trying to get back to the moon and we've got a three billion dollar contract. you're right. With Musk to build rockets in a parking lot. well I mean that's the problem with privatization and Contracting and like the road that our federal government has gone down for the past many decades. I mean it just benefits like you know psychos like Elon Musk. I remember following these debates about the privatization of space and NASA and that sort of stuff. like before I was ever even really that political. and all these people were assured that it's actually been really great. no. this is the result. and it's not great in my opinion that we have to rely on complete lunatics who abuse the workforce and the environments that they operate in for doing this. like this should be under National auspices and not capitalists.
