Luc Despins of Paul Hastings Threats Miles Guo, a dissident of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)

- Luc Despins is co-chair of the Financial Restructuring group and a partner of Paul Hastings;
- Paul Hastings has been representing thousands of CCP affiliated entities, including COSCO;
- Luc admitted “no proof of Miles Guo’s wrongdoing,” but Luc would “find something intentionally”;
- $250 million payment for himself in exchange for Mr. Miles Guo keeping his own apartment, yacht, and house in Connecticut;
- Luc repeatedly stated that he would make Guo’s life unthinkably miserable, saying he would force Guo’s family into poverty;
- Otherwise, Luc would have the U.S. Court System, the DOJ, the SEC, and the IRS to destroy Mr. Miles Guo, his family, the New Federal State of China, and the Whistleblower Movement. Luc had the same goal and interest as that of the CCP.
