When Do I Give My Child a Phone?

A recurring counseling question from parents is the right time to give a child a weapon (i.e., a phone).

1. They are mature enough to resist porn.
2. They will say "no" to cultural evangelists.
3. They won't fill insecure emotional voids with "likes."

If these temptations are actual, a phone creates a smooth pathway to pursue pleasure outside of Christ, the only way to wholeness, happiness, and minimal soul noise.
