Milwaukee December 2, 2022, a group of 25 people including Harry Wait gathered outside the Milwaukee County Safety Building in support of Kimberly Zapata who like Wait was charged with absentee ballot voter fraud. Zapata, a Milwaukee election clerk, admitted to ordering military ballots for non-existent people. Zapata sent three ballots to the home of State Rep. Janel Brandtjen. Zapata also retained a new attorney from the same law firm representing Wait the Thomas More Society. Zapata pleaded not guilty. Prosecutors said her motive was to show vulnerabilities in the election system. Wait also showed vulnerabilities in the MyVote system and appeared the same day as Zapata in Racine WI. The judge in the Wait case agrees with his counsel to allow former Justice Michael Gableman to join the Wait legal team. A surprise was that the Judge in the Wait case disallowed the States subpoena for Wait to turn over all information involving the alleged crime. The Racine Judged stated he will not let Wait incriminate himself and vacated the subpoena.
