A few surprising results in this study (at least for me)

2 Ti 2:15 a workman is a teacher (not that you will hear this from Robert Breaker)
Labourer/Workman g2040. ἐργάτης ĕrgatēs, er-gat´-ace; from 2041; a toiler; fig. a teacher:—labourer, worker (-men).
Thayer - those who as teachers labor to propagate and promote Christianity among men 2 Co. 11:13; Phil. 3:2; 2 Tim. 2:15, cf. Mt. 9:37 sq.; Lk. 10:2.
Bloomfield - fig. of labourers in the work of the Gospel, teachers in the Church, 2 Tim. 2:15

A mocker or scoffer appears only twice in NT and means a false teacher
Scoffer/Mocker g1703. ἐμπαίκτης ĕmpaiktēs, emp-aheek-tace´; from 1702: a derider, i.e. (by impl.) a false teacher:—mocker, scoffer.
Bloomfield - Ἐμπαίκτης, ου, ὁ, (ἐμπαίζω,) properly a jester or mocker, and by impl. a deceiver or impostor, said in N. T. of false prophets and teachers, 2 Pet. 3:3; Jude 18.

Rain as in Joel 2:23 former rain and latter rain the word means teacher and an archer
Teacher/Rain h4175. מוֹרֶה‎ môwreh, mo-reh´; from 3384; an archer; also teacher or teaching; also the early rain [See 3138]:—(early) rain.

and
Wandering (star/planet) fig an erratic teacher.
Wandering g4107. πλανήτης planētēs, plan-ay´-tace; from 4108; a rover (“planet”), i.e. (fig.) an erratic teacher:—wandering.
Bloomfield - Πλανήτης, ου, ὁ, (πλανάω,) prop. one wandering about, a wanderer; in N. T. ἀστὴρ πλανήτης, a wandering star, planet, fig. of a false teacher, Jude 13

We need to sift the chaff from the wheat i.e the false from the truth which means we have to test what is said against the word of God.
