Flanged Cord Panel Cushion YT

Flanged braided cord can be very problematic to apply by machine and get a really neat finish so ensuring the use the right method is imperative. Careful sewing on the correct side to of the cord ensures that very little of the flanging shows around cushion edges and neatly joining the cord ends.

In this video I hope you can see some of the methods used to acheive the best finish around cushions. These particular cushions are made using 3 different fabrics; a patterned Art Of The Loom fabric panel in the centre of the front flanked by Romo Linara each side and backed in a Wemyss velvet. The cusions are also zipped at the edge.
