Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 8: The Shooting Star Project (Zero Mix) - Anime Review

Welcome to my review of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 8! This episode was a nice change in pace, as it showed the aftermath of the Wandenreich's destruction. We got to finally see Ichigo and Rukia interact with each other and the newly minted Head Captain Shunsui Kyoraku planned his next course of action with the other Captains. Squad Zero decided to finally intervene and invited Ichigo, Rukia, Renji, and Byakuya to go with them and train for the next conflict. There were also a ton of cameos in this episode featuring Kon, Grimmjow, Kukaku, Ganjo, Ginjo, Tsukishima, and Giriko who did not appear this early in the manga, but do help out later on. My one nitpick with this episode was the fact that they cut out the hot spring scene with Rukia's booty. Why!? Stay tuned for my review of episode 9 later next week.
