Turtle bay, Mexico 터틀배이, 멕시코

Arriving mid afternoon, we dropped the hook in 30 ft of water on a flat sandy bottom. Turtle bay provides a great rest stop half way between Ensenada and Cabo San Lucas on the Baha peninsula.
The expansive bay forming the shape of the crescent moon is very well protected from prevailing north and south winds.

The bay is home to a quaint sleepy dirt road town.
Fill with vibrant colours and the sweetest dogs roaming the streets.

As you walk through the town, the wonderful locals are there to help or at least provide a friendly wave. The Baha-jaja stops here every year, and the kids at Turtle bay run with joy and excitement to assist cruisers to secure their dinghy on the beach. The kids are eager to earn a little extra income from the arriving cruisers.

Surrounded by dessert-y hills, turtle bay is absolutely teeming with wild life.
The seals swim in the thousands and the pelicans fly close behind to the next hot feeding grounds.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here with hiking, nature watching, and eating at one of a kind local taco shops.

Much Thanks to @sailingsitka5348 for fun times buddy boating!! :D
