Live coverage of the Artemis I Orion spacecraft's departure from its Distant Retrograde Orbit around the Moon.
The Artemis 1 mission placed the Orion spacecraft into orbit around the moon for 2-4 weeks. Orion will then return to Earth for splashdown in the Pacific Ocean. Ten small CubeSat rideshare payloads also tagged along. This test flight paves the way for the first crewed mission to return humans to the Moon - Artemis 2 - planned for May 2024.
