Out Of The Blank #1281 - Verne Lyon

Verne Lyon was a CIA agent in the 1960s and 1970s. While operating under deep cover Lyon engaged in domestic spying on antiwar Iowa State University students. Codenamed Operation CHAOS, the CIA launched the illegal program against U.S. citizens. Lyon was also involved in destabilizing operations in Cuba. Verne wrote about his operations at Iowa State in his book "Eyes on Havana: Memoir of an American Spy Betrayed by the CIA".
