In this FLAWLESS video, I bring you inside of how I painted this freaking masterpiece of a painting of Curran Alexander Vineyards here in Lexington, NC and I talk about my experience and mentality when painting commissions.
My dear morons, too many painters whine and complain about painting things they do not like and they end up missing opportunities of improving various techniques and obtaining a better painter mindset. It can be very difficult giving a client what exactly they want and every person and commission is different.
I have found that each situation is unique and some go smoother than others even if you are working for the same person. However, I have also found that I am able to adapt to situations better than before because of these challenges and it has improved my own work. This, among countless other things, makes me a far superior painter to the average mongrel who is too much of a pansy to take on a piece they don't want to do.
