Tear It Down, Tyrant

My email: habirutribe@gmail.com

Build Back Better
Modify the Weather
Give Us Something
Kind and Clever
Pay the Welder
Extra Cheddar
Weld the Doors Shut
Lock Us in Our Homes

Inflations Rising
Gas Price Kill Us
More than the Vax
For the Virus
Been Through It Before
When Europe First Came
Danced for Three Days
Sweated
and Jumped in the Lake

Knocked Out the Sickness
And Mental Weakness
The Drums make us strong
The flute make us sweet

Words that empower
Stories bring wisdom
Strong and tender,
brave and simpatico
Kind to all
we gonna meet
your sister and yer bro
And greet with some good
Deer and buffalo meet

Now finally close
To getting the revolution won
Finally cool to be African
Irish, and Indian
Now you want to tear it down
Tear It Down, Tyrant
To the streets with your rant
Burning and killing
I ain’t believing

Farmer sang Christian hym
King sang Christian
Hindu Ghandhi inspired wife
Loretta Scott King
with Christ she dealt with the strife

Build Back Better
sounds good to me
but not on violence burning
you tear it all down
what we've been learning
