Kangaroos are four marsupials from the family Macropodidae (macropods, meaning "large foot"). In common use the term is used to describe the largest species from this family, the red kangaroo, as well as the antilopine kangaroo, eastern grey kangaroo, and western grey kangaroo.Kangaroos are indigenous to Australia and New Guinea. The Australian government estimates that 42.8 million kangaroos lived within the commercial harvest areas of Australia in 2019, down from 53.2 million in 2013.

Kangaroos are very friendly to human but there are rare chances of attacking to human. These animals are so loving and beautiful. Even without feeding, kangaroos and wallabies readily accept our presence if we show no aggression towards them. But, if we get too close, they may see us as a threat. Kangaroos and wallabies that are used to being fed can approach people expecting food. When there is no food, they may become aggressive.
People can be killed by a kangaroo kick, but it does not happen in practice. However, fights with kangaroos in rare cases lead to life-threatening injuries in humans. Without treatment, a kangaroo kick can be fatal. Occasionally, fights between kangaroos can also be fatal for one of the animals
