The main industry we've focused on is tech layoffs. This industry has experienced a lot of losses for many companies worldwide. This is not a United States issue, it's a worldwide layoff issue. We look into the below information.

Business News - Tech layoffs

According to Worldwide Layoff Tracker, the Layoffs.Fyi website, there are 889 tech companies with 142,540 layoffs for 2022. This chart shows worldwide layoffs. It's a different picture when we look at worldwide layoffs versus in-state layoffs or US layoffs. This website gives references to tech layoffs and other sectors. If you look at the website, you will see trends with the dates. Just looking at the November 2022 layoffs is alarming.

Recent Tech Layoffs:

Meta layoffs 11,000

More Layoffs To Come :

Lyft - Planning 683 layoffs
Stripe - Will layoff 14% of its employees

The majority of the articles we reviewed were in reference to tech layoffs and some information that deals with the stock market. The stock market and the job market goes hand in hand. This is a very hot topic. We reviewed the tech layoffs on the layoff tracker website. The charts identify the number of tech layoffs compared to the total number of companies.

We did notice that a lot of workers work in the Finance and Bitcoin industries. We'll have to verify this information in Business News and Business News Journals.

We also look into companies that have filed to be delisted from the stock market. There may be a correlation with the layoffs. We showed recently listed companies, delisted companies, and acquisitions. If a company is delisting and has layoffs, it's a sign. There are a lot of companies delisting in the month of November. There were also a lot of companies delisting in the previous months as well.

Not sure if the global news covers all of the above, but it should be considered global news. If not, it should be considered international news. There are a lot of tech layoffs.

I don't possess a major in Economy nor am I an economist, yet the world and its experiences fascinate my curiosity. I have learned to love nature and am crawling my way back to understanding nature and how the world works spiritually.
