Deer Camp 2022, Part 2: Rifle Season (Week #1)

Part Two of Deer Camp 2022 realized the best Opening Weekend in recent memory.

Bucks were chasing does; the rut was on!

Seven decent bucks were taken in the first 3 days alone...mine in the first legal hour of shooting light!

It was a special hunt for me as I had no sooner reached for my thermos of coffee when I heard what I thought was another hunter rattling.

Stopping short of pouring that steaming hot cup of coffee, I turned slowly to witness two bucks sparring.
