SAT Lesson 4: Systems of Equations

A system of equations will show up on the SAT, Path to Math covers systems of equations in lesson 4 of our SAT Math Bootcamp.

A system of equations is basically two lines on the same coordinate. The point where the two lines intersect is called the "solution" and this point can be found in multiple ways. Graphing the lines can help, but not if the solution involves large numbers or decimals. To accurately find the point where they intersect, you should use elimination or substitution, shown in the video.
