It's been a journey for DJ and producer Heissone Rios, who hails from Diadema, a popular district of São Paulo, and has made Dublin his musical home.
From the days blasting Brazilian popular dancing music around the narrow streets of his hometown, he got a taste as a teenager of what it felt like to bring people together and learned to appreciate the power of a solid beat.

Since arriving in Dublin at only 18, Rios, now 23 years ago old, has been electrifying his community of followers who tune into his masterful tech-house blends during the pop-up parties he and his team have been putting together with a dream - and a generator.
Honing his craft in his houseshare turned jamming space in Ballygall (aptly renamed Bailegall, from the Portuguese word for dance, baile), what gets his blood pumping is seeing his people feel every layer of his mixing, from the bass of house music to the hats making all shake.
