I made this wood dragon ornament by hand from 3/4 inch Poplar hardwood using traditional woodworking tools and finished it with shop-made food-safe mineral oil, beeswax, and carnauba wax. It is the perfect gift for any dragon fan or collector of dragons. It is a Christmas tree ornament, but it can also be used as a shelf sitter, where it peeks over the edge to watch what you are doing. While I didn't intend this to be a toy, my five-year-old grandson practically begged for one. His dragon now sits on the computer, watching him play Minecraft.
