SAT Lesson 3: Ratio, Scale, and Proportions (SAT Test Prep Path to Math)

The SAT math sections tests your knowledge on Ratio, Scale, and Proportions. Use this technique to quickly set up an equation relating two fractions that will have only one unknown variable. This way, you can quickly solve for the unknown.

This technique works with word problems involving scaling objects, ratios, even percentages. As well as, drawn models of shapes with correlating sides, such as similar triangles.
