Drunk driver arrested after causing multi-vehicle crash near Mayfair and Watertown Plank

Part of the intersection near Mayfair and Watertown Plank closed Tuesday after a drunk-driving crash. A Wauwatosa police officer attempted to stop a driver for reckless driving in the Mayfair parking lot around 4:25 p.m. The driver failed to stop and fled southbound on Mayfair Road. A police pursuit began but ended when the driver struck a vehicle at the intersection of Mayfair and Watertown Plank. The impact of the crash caused that vehicle to strike two more cars.
