A look at the century old legacy of the "Princess of Mars" story by Edgar Rice Burroughs, also known as "John Carter" - the new Disney film. The movie stars Taylor Kitsch as John Carter and Lynn Collins as Princess Dejah Thoris. It is directed by Andrew Stanton.
John Carter, who is inexplicably transported to mysterious and exotic planet Mars, becomes embroiled in a conflict of epic proportions and discovers that the survival of the planet and its people rests in his hands.
