Making Vintage Ashley Wilde Interlined Pinch Pleat Curtain | Remakes

They say vintage is anything over 25 years old. Well then, I think this Ashley Wilde fabric just about qualifies as it's an old style 48" wide so most likely it's from the nineties and is the perfect candidate for #recyledcurtains. I remember making up fabrics just like this in my first workroom at #thewindmillworkroom back in the nineties. The burgundy, blue and green combination was very popular at the time.

There was so much #ashleywilde fabric here that was is such great condition that I could completely understand why the customer wanted to #makingnewcurtainsfromold and how you too can #makingnewcurtainsfromold at home.

My ID client cleverly teamed it up the #classicstripe with a gorgeous #artoftheloom #woolherringbone fabric that was a beautiful warm grey tone at first glance but was actually a blend of all the colours in the stripe.

You will see me make a pair of 2.5 widths and a single 5.5 width all #handsewn lined and #interlinedcurtains and with #doublepinchpleat heading.

I also have #pelmets and #tiebacks to make in the plain wool herringbone with contrast bias cut piping detail in the stripe. That video will be a much more detailed trade only video tutorial for my Patreon members only. Please see link below if you would like to sign up.
