Olasz állampolgárok megrohamozták a városházát La Spezia-ban miután a polgármester nem vette tudomásul, hogy a lakosok magyarázatot követelnek.

A videón hallani, hogy egy hölgy azt kérdezi; "Nincs pénzem kenyeret venni, mit eszik ma este a lányom?"

Olaszországban sok polgárnak nincs kettő eurója kenyérre, az infláció mértékével már kevesen tudnak lépést tartani, amit a Covid lezárások okozta jövedelemkiesés is súlyosbít.

Folyamatosan emelkednek a költségek és - állítólag - a legtöbb munkahely megtagadja a munkát az oltatlanoktól. Az állítólag szót fontos kiemelni, hiszen Olaszország az, aminek egyik megyéjében sem egységes a rendszer, a hozzáállás és amíg egyesek - főként Észak-Olaszországban - folyamatos diszkriminációról, élelmiszerhiányról számolnak be, addig másokat semmilyen atrocitás nem ért, illetve az áruhiányt sem észlelik olyan erősen. Ez utóbbi pedig főként Dél-Olaszországra igaz.

Valami azonban láthatóan elkezdődött, ami a jelenlegi rendszer eszkalálódását mutatja.

Italy

Italian citizens stormed the town hall in La Spezia after the mayor refused to listen to residents' demands for an explanation.

In the video a lady can be heard asking; "I have no money to buy bread, what is my daughter eating tonight?"

In Italy, many citizens do not have two euros to buy bread, few can keep up with the rate of inflation, exacerbated by the loss of income caused by the Covid closures.

Costs keep rising and, reportedly, most workplaces are refusing to employ the unvaccinated. The word allegedly is important to emphasise as it is Italy, where in none of the provinces is there a uniform system, attitude and while some people, especially in Northern Italy, report constant discrimination, food shortages, others are not affected by any atrocities or perceive the shortage of goods as severe. The latter is particularly true in southern Italy.
