Some quick info on a seemingly benign food additive likely in the beverage you're drinking now, or even in the food you're eating later called citric acid. It's probably not what you think it is. It is nearly 100% likely it is manufactured citric acid, aka aspergillus niger, and you should know it has a sweet side and a not-so-sweet side.
