Chapter 3. The Gospel of Grace. 3.1. Justified

As stated in the previous section; we have two extreme opposing views when it comes to the salvation message. In addressing these two opposing views, I would like to do so by defining three important terminologies find in Scriptures, namely: Justification, Righteousness and Sanctification.

The Catholic Church defines justification, righteousness and sanctification to mean kind of the same thing. The Catholic Church teaches that at infant baptism, they are infused with God’s grace, which, according to them, is like saying they have been infused by God’s Divine nature. They would then continue by teaching that we as Christians are required to resist the temptations of the flesh and do pennants if we sin, if we are to obtain God’s justification.
