Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup 2022 – Preview

For nearly forty years, the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup has been one of the most important annual events in the international sailing calendar. Built on the foundations of the long-term partnership between like-minded organisations in Rolex, the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda and the International Maxi Association, its appeal is unique. The event brings together many of the world’s most powerful and innovative Maxi yachts, the cream of international sailing talent, professional race management and a sailing environment without equal. The 32nd edition of the event takes place from 4 to 10 September and is set to welcome an impressive entry list of nearly 50 international yachts. Racing on Sardinia’s renowned Costa Smeralda will take place over five days of competition with the focus on teamwork and
