Star Wars Blackhole Stormtrooper Maquette by Gentle Giant

Blackhole Troopers were an evolution of the Republic shadow troopers. Their armor got its black color from a fabric known as Stygian-triprismatic polymer. The black armor gave the troopers a tactical advantage, as it made them less visible, especially in the dark.

In animation a maquette is a small model of an intended work, used by animators as a reference tool to help retain character consistency. This maquette is made of a porcelain/resin blend.
