People call them flying squirrel sometimes, these cute marsupials ( yes, they are related to kangaroos) can make wonderful pets and bond closely with their human families if given the specific care, enrichment, and socialization they require .

Though they are adorable, they require a lot of attention and they tend to do a " low bark" at night . I don't recommend owning them if you cant give them enough attention and socialization. They can be very difficult and npt for everyone.
