Today we read about Solomon's officials, the provisions he needed, and the people coming to hear his great wisdom. Esther begins with King Xerxes holding a feast for those in Susa and his queen disobeying his command. Lamentations speaks about seeing the discipline and wrath of the Lord. The lamentation ends with hope for God's unfailing love and forgiveness.
