How would I approach finding an angel investor for a new business plan?

Good question.

One nice thing about today’s day and age is you can meet people online across the world. It makes it much easier when looking for investors.

First, I would recommend joining the Benjamin Z Miller investor networking group. We meet every Sunday (12:30PM Dallas, 6:30PM London / 7:30PM Warsaw / 8:30PM Kyiv).

The meetings are on Zoom online each Sunday but you register and join the group through Meetup. We have investors from all over the United States and Europe and some of the investors that attend do not register properly so there are many more than shown on the meetup site.

You can meet serious business contacts here that can help you with whatever you need. I wanted to do something to help new investors where they could spend more time getting the education they need so they can be more successful.

The mission of Benjamin Z. Miller’s investor networking group is to provide a place for new and experienced investors to network. Typical topics discussed at the meetings might include (but are not limited to), the following:

Apartment Complex Investing

Bond Investing (Emerging Market vs Developed Market) / Corporate vs Government)

Currency Trading

Mortgage Note Investing

N, NN, NNN Lease Investing

Rental Properties

Retirement Account Investing (USA SDIRA, UK ISA, etc.)

Short Sales

Stock Investing

The meetings are designed to give an opportunity for an investor to meet other investors and to possibly find capital or partners for their deals while meeting quality contacts.

In addition to my lectures on investing you also get the slide deck and investor sign in sheet (with phone and email of other attendees).

You can contact other investors you meet here as well. It is not just for new investors. We also sometimes have some very experienced investors that I have been investing with for years attend these meetings.

I hope that helps and good luck with finding your angel investor!
